The Writer’s Market Guide is an up-to-date list of every publication currently accepting submissions. It is focused mainly on print publications and magazine publications, but the Writer’s Market also has specific guides for children’s authors, fiction writers, non-fiction writers, etc.

Typewriter Music Box

I’m not sure if the Typewriter Music Box is an essential gift, but I would love it, so that’s why I included it in the gift guide for writers. The little mini-typewriter would be a fun decoration for any writer’s desk and the little drawer would be perfect for stashing candy.
