Christopher Paolini is the author of the Inheritance Cycle . So far, that is the only series he has written, but he is only 29, so he probably will write more in the future. Judith O'Brien is an adult author who has also written some YA novels. I know her from her Mary Jane series, which is basically a retelling of the Spiderman story from MJ's prospective.
