So, Doug Welch is around 65, or maybe closer to 70. On a whim, he decided to write the book Shadow Games (which is free to download right now). The Shadow Games is not particularly well-written, and he tries to write about 25 year olds, which comes across as odd, since he's from the wrong generation, but the story is good so far.
