The Changing Digital World: Selling Used Digital Copies
Here is something incredibly interesting and rather confusing that has popped up over the past few months. In October, 2011, the site ReDigi opened. With ReDigi, the goal was to allow users to sell their used digital files to the site, which could then resell the files to another user at a discount. So, I don’t know about you, but most books on required reading lists make my ears bleed. I don’t know how some of those books got to be classics, but many of them are so difficult to read, or so poorly written, that they are un-enjoyable to read. Potential Updates
So, I really want to update the Daily Mayo site, but I'm not very good at web design. The main thing that has stopped me is the idea that if I try to change something, I could end up deleting everything. I feel like I know just enough about updating a site to be highly dangerous. Banned Book vs Movie: Little Women
Today we are focusing on banned books in honor of Banned Books Week coming up next week. I figure there are enough banned books out there to celebrate for two weeks. :-) Today's banned book is Little Women. My sources didn't really say why it was banned, just that maybe it was because it had anti-feminist themes. It could also be because of the fairly Christian discussions and refrerences in the story.
