You know your holding a good book when:
You answer questions with 2-3 letter words such as : mhm, em, ye, no.
The whole world could disappear and you wouldn’t notice, or care.
You do not make eye contact with said person as to tear your eye away from the page for mere seconds would mean you could miss something.
You realize you’ve only blinked about twice in 4 hours and your eyes feel like sand paper.
All your muscles seize up when you move because you’ve been sitting in the same position for hours.
When you start, it’s day. When you stop, its night.
You choose foods that can be easily eaten with one hand rather than putting the book down to cook.
You have to read just one more chapter before bed
You then decide that sleep is a luxury, not a necessity.
You end up looking more zombie than human after staying up all night reading.
Finishing the book upsets you so much that all you can do is stare into space…
Or suffer a break down.
How do you know when you’re holding a good book?
