Nostalgic Review: Ruth Fielding
So, this isn't really a review, so much as a nostalgic remembrance. Feel free to ignore if you don't like serial novels from the early 1900s. When I was a kid, my mom bought us a huge collection of books called The Robinson Curriculum. Banned Book vs Movie: Little Women
Today we are focusing on banned books in honor of Banned Books Week coming up next week. I figure there are enough banned books out there to celebrate for two weeks. :-) Today's banned book is Little Women. Book Vs Movie: North and South Part 3 and 4
So, I got really bored of this movie. It just dragged on and on. But eventually, the movie wrapped up just like the book. Mr. Thornton became less severe, Margaret became less snooty, the workers got a fair wage, and all was well. Honestly, by the end of the movie I was completely sick of the story.
