Review: Biscuit Books by Alyssa Satin Capucilli

The Biscuit books are charming little stories about a dog named Biscuit. The puppy is naughty, and gets into all kinds of scrapes in various situations. Incidentally, when I was a kid we had a cat named Bisquit (I’m not sure why we spelled it like that, but it was pronounced the same anyway). These books are written at about a K to first grade reading level, which are ideal for my little girl right now. She loves reading about the naughty puppy. I think these books and their charming illustrations deserve 5 stars. Nothing inappropriate in these stories! Just funny, enjoyable books that are nearly as fun for me as for her.
