Today’s featured author is Brian Faulkner, author of Brain Jack.
Brian Faulkner is a New Zealand author who has also had success in the United States. He mostly writes YA and children’s literature about technology-type subjects. In addition to writing books, Faulkner has also worked in radio, computer consulting, and graphics design. This background helped him write knowledgeably about computer-oriented topics. His first book, Henry and the Flea, was published in 2003.
I enjoyed Faulkner’s writing style, although I did get a little bored with Brain Jack by the end of the story. Overall, I think anyone that loves technology and end-of-the-world sensationalism will enjoy his books.
