By now, you have probably read all about the hype from the new Twilight book, Life and Death where Bella is a boy named Beau and Edward is a girl named Edythe. Regardless of what you think of the story itself, the gender-swapped story is perfect for your no-fuss Halloween costume this year! You and a significant other or you and a friend can easily put together this costume.
Life and Death Twilight Couple’s Costume
I decided for the Life and Death Twilight costume, I’d recreate the iconic “sparkle” scene, that is so loved/mocked. It’s pretty easy to gender-swap these clothes because neither outfit is particularly feminine or masculine.
Of course, the biggest difference is the white makeup and red eyes that Edythe will need. I advise just dabbing on makeup instead of caking it on so you look pale but not like a clown. I’ve also added red lipstick to Edythe’s outfit, because what vampire woman doesn’t have ruby-red lips? Red eyes are easy to achieve with colored contacts.

Last week, we had the most posts linked up in the history of Lit Lovers! Thanks everyone for always sharing your amazing content! I love reading and sharing your posts.
I really liked this post from Elizabeth about how to find your style as a book reviewer. I review far fewer books these days, and usually I keep the reviews short. I feel like my style has evolved quite a bit from the early days! Now, I just say what made me like the book or not and who I think may also like it. I also don’t do stars anymore.
It’s Link Party Time!
