If you can’t tell by the title of this post, I’ve caught Anne fever once more. Today, it’s all about Anne of Green Gables activities!
With the new story coming out soon, I can’t wait to re-read and revel in a universe that is one of my childhood favorites.
I always considered myself to be just like Anne, and strangely enough, I also married my childhood sweetheart (although I wasn’t quite as stubborn about resisting as she was). This time around, I noticed that Anne very likely had ADHD, just like me and my daughter, which may just be what made me love her so much back in the day.
Today, I’ve rounded up some of the best Anne of Green Gables activities across the interwebs for your enjoyment (but full disclosure, also for mine).

8 Fun Anne of Green Gables Activities
Anne of Green Gables Party
Strangely enough, there are a lot more Anne weddings than parties. This one is more party inspiration, rather than a party someone actually hosted, but it has some good ideas. I’d serve the cookies linked later in this post.
Anne of Green Gables Breaking Bad Mash-Up
I made this mash-up a couple of weeks ago, and after reading it, my brother told me I should write for NPR. I think it was a compliment. 🙂
Facts about Anne of Green Gables Author LMM
I always love learning more facts about my favorite authors. It seems like LMM was quite the feminist in her day.
Romantic Gilbert Quotes (in printable form)
Gilbert was my first book boyfriend. I probably came as close as you can get to marrying him!
Anne of Green Gables Road Trip
If you ever get the chance to visit Canada, you have to take the Anne road trip! My aunt and uncle took this trip once (fun fact, some of my relatives are from PEI).
Anne of Green Gables Cookies
These Anne of Green Gables cookies are adorable, and I want to make/eat them. My handwriting is not nearly as good as this, though!
The Ultimate Anne Character Quiz
When I took this quiz, I got Anne, which probably means it’s easy to get the answer you want. But still, it’s a fun quiz!
Signs You are Anne
I thought this list was a lot of fun. Gifs are funny.
Anne Stuff on My Wishlist
If you need more than Anne of Green Gables activities in your life, maybe you need these items as well?
True Anne fans know Gilbert gave Anne a pink heart necklace like this one in college. It was meant to represent the heart he gave her as an apology after he insulted her and she crushed on the ground. Why so cold, Anne?
I am starting to get quite the collection of bookish scarves, and this Anne of Green Gables scarf is definitely needed to round out my collection. And how pretty is that green?
I really want this edition of the books. I love the pretty font and soft colors.
I cannot get over how adorable these Anne of Green Gables cross stitch patterns are! It makes me want to get back into cross stitch ASAP.

Lit Lovers Link Party
Where book bloggers are loved!
Welcome yet again to another exciting week of the Lit Lovers link party! Last week, if you missed it, don’t forget to check out my thoughts on what happens if you don’t LOVE a popular book. I’m curious to know how you feel.
Link your favorite book and quote posts (new or old) for some extra traffic! We’re here every Thursday.
Remember, you can link up as many book or quote-related posts as you want!
As always, I will feature my favorite link-up in next week’s Lit Lover’s edition. This year, I’m also sharing my favorite posts on the Daily Mayo Facebook page and Twitter as a “thank you” for linking up each week.
When you share your post with me, you agree to for me to use one image from your post in next week’s LL. I will also pin all link-ups to the new Lit Lover’s Pinterest board and send you weekly link-up reminders so you can join in every week.
