Today’s Feature and Follow Friday Question:
If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?
Weeeelll… That’s a tough one. There have been many books that I have loved over the years, like The Hobbit, The Princess Bride, and Les Misérables, but do I have an all-time favorite? Hard to say. The book I have read the most often is probably Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. That is probably my all-time favorite book if judging by how many times I have read it. Of course, if I had to have just one book, it would probably be one of those books with a collection of many stories in it- just to get more millage out of it. I would have to choose Maps in a Mirror by Orson Scott Card, or Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman.
Have you ever ended up reading a book with its last or last few pages missing? What book was it? And how did you managed to get to the end?
I don’t think I’ve ever had to read a book with pages missing. I think that would be a terrible problem to run into. I suppose if I liked the book, I’d try to look for a complete copy. If I didn’t like it, I guess I wouldn’t care either way. I used to be someone who always finished a book no matter how bad, but these days, I abandon bad books like nobody’s business.
